Our Programs

Public Healthcare Centre

Organization has been working for the health and family welfare programs since 1994. The organization has conducted several Reproductive & child health & population stabilization related following activities:-
  • Referrals services including ambulatory facility
  • curative Health care services
  • Laboratorial services
  • Antenatal care & facilitating safe deliveries
  • Children immunization in age group of 0-5 years.
  • Prevention and management of RTI/STDS and HIV/AIDS.
  • Promotion of small family norms.
In order to achieve objective the organization has conducted number of IEC activities through folk media in rural villages and conducted awareness camps /melas in different locations of the district Raebareli Uttar Pradesh through mobilization of community members and provided health facilities such as curative health care services, Referrals, services antenatal checkups TT immunizations, immunizations to children. The health center also acts as TB-DOTs centre.
The center has provision for distribution of contraceptives and counseling services. This program is being implemented with the supports and coordination from public health distribution system and district health administration. Approx. 45410 patients have received OPD services and more than a thousand deliveries has taken place at the center. About 3 thousands pregnant women received complete ANC care from the center.

HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention programs

AIDS destroys “Family’ first turning stable household in to one parent families, and then leaving parents less children and the mercy of the grandparents and institutions. It attacks the powerless and most vulnerable women unable to project them, who do not understand its risk and the infant at the time of birth or while breastfeeding. In addition to suffering the debilitating effects of disease, many are rejected from the family, friend and their community. Most of the peoples may choose to hide their disease from the family and family for share of about men. In order to address this issue and control HIV transmission and prevention of AIDS in the community by making people aware about the ill effect of this deadly debases the Pariwar Kalyan Awam Jan Sewa Sansthan with support of district health administration has organized AIDS awareness programs through IEC/BCC & advocacy.

Besides general community it has also covered road users including truckers, construction labours, and transport workers by generating awareness about its ill effect. In order to make this interesting no. of magic shows, street plays, puppet shows etc. are organized at different location of its project areas. Several meetings with truckers, Road users, migrant labors and high risk groups at dabs, roadside shops and temporary boarders of labours working on the highways constructions / repaired works etc. was done. The organization works in collaboration with NACO and other agencies that are supporting for implementation of prevention of this deadly disease and providing care and support for the PLWHAs of its program area.

Prerna Program under J.S.K

The project comes under population stabilization fund (Jansankhya Sthirata Kosh) supported by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. JSK has to promote and undertake activities aimed at achieving population stabilisation at a level consistent with the needs of sustainable economic growth, social development and environment protection, by 2045.

The program recognizes and awards couples who have broken the stereotype of early marriage and early childbirth and helped change mindsets. In this scheme, the girl should have been married after 19 years of age and given birth to the first child at least after 2 years of marriage. The couple will get award of Rs. 10000/- if it is Boy child or Rs. 12000/- if it is Girl child. ' If birth of second child is at least after 3 years of first child birth and either parent voluntarily accept permanent method of family planning within one year of the birth of the second child, couple will get additional Rs. 5000/- if boy child and Rs. 7000/- if girl child. The scheme is only for BPL families.

The organization has identified 510 beneficiaries till January 2017 and 30 have already received award from the government.

Uttar Pradesh Health System Development Project

Pariwar Kalyan Ewam Jan Sewa Sansthan worked for the mother and child care services under UPHSDP project in Raebareli district of the state. Through this project the NGO endeavored to provide services to the target group in collaboration with the existing Government Health machinery and insured that the services really reach to the targeted group.

The main objective of the project was to provide preventive and curative health care services to the under privileged section of the community especially the poor women of proposed areas.

For ensuring the health services to beneficiaries in the villages a health post was established at the project areas village Vidha Ganj, Block Salon, Dist Raebareli. This centre had the provision of a full time registered doctor, one registered ANM/Nurse a trained TBA and health coordinator /supervisor for the motivation referral and insuring patient to the health post. The centre provided the services such as limited, curative health care, for example headache, fever, common cold, diarrhea, RTI aliments, worm infection, ammonia etc. to the disadvantages population in the project area and refer serious cases to the higher centers. Beside this health post also provided health services to the identified pregnant women, lactating mother and children in the project areas.

Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (R.N.T.C.P)

Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) is the state-run tuberculosis (TB) control initiative of the Government of India. As per the National Strategic Plan 2012–17, the program has a vision of achieving a "TB free India", and aims to achieve Universal Access to TB control services by applying the principles of DOTS to the Indian context.

Healthcare center run by the organization act as DOTS center. The center is currently providing DOTS services to 220 TB patients and already 190 patients have cured through complete course of treatment. Many community meetings and school health activities are being held to create awareness about the TB in the community.

National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP)

The National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India in 2007- 08, during the 11th five year plan, with the following objectives:
  • To bring about greater awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and about the Tobacco Control Laws.
  • To facilitate effective implementation of the Tobacco Control Laws.
The organization has been recently awarded this program by MOHFW through District Health Society for Raebareli district. The school activity related to Tobacco control and awareness camps about cancer is being undertaken in the program. 30 such school awareness camps have been organized in the district of Raebareli.

Women vocational Training

Under this for organization with the support women and child welfare deportments is being provided vocational training on handicraft, tailoring, mushroom, embroidery of district Rae barely. Total number 200 women economically weaker section societies got benefited under the handicraft training program and through the training about 150 women’s are got space for their income generation and thereby improved quality of life.

Agriculture Programme like exposure of farmers and vermin compose

The organization time to time conducts Kisan Sammelan at block level. Different block farmers and Agriculture Development Institute participate in the sammelan. In the sammelan, these farmers are given knowledge and skill of new agriculture techniques such as preparation of pesticide, vermin compost, technically suitable agriculture instrument to improve agriculture productivity through which strengthen their economic condition and improve quality of life. The organization has also trained farmers on Nader compost and vermin compost under National Environmental Awareness Programme in Raebareli district.

School activities- Health camps in government aided schools

The organization time to time conducts health camps in the school for creating awareness about health in the students. A team of doctors conducts the health check-up of the each students and prescribe necessary medicines if required. The students are also counseled on how to keep themselves fit and health. They are also told to do exercise to be healthy.
